Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan I’ve been influenced by the
vibrant, liberal city I’ve grown up in.
I studied metal smithing at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti,
Michigan where I now reside.
My art is primarily driven by the nature surrounding me.
Birds, flowers, and organic shapes are my primary subject matter,
My paintings are a mixture of recycled materials, vintage and
new papers, acrylic paints, charcoal, pencil, ink, and glue.
Each piece has some hidden meaning or symbolism that is
attached to an event or experience in my life.
I tend to gravitate to a more lighthearted subject matter and find
humor in the slightest of things which translates to my work.
In addition to my Art, I own a small shop in Ann Arbor called Red Shoes. It offers a space to sell my work and that of other local artists in the community. Community is really important to me as is keeping my shop unique and filled with items made by other artists and small design studios from across the United States and the world. Ive been featured in numerous books, magazines, and publications for my work and my shop. But mostly you will find me at home with my dogs sitting in front of the fire , laughing with my kids at the dinner table or doing a million piles of laundry.

Dibond® is an amazing aluminum composite material (ACM) comprised of two sheets of .012" aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. And made In USA! We use it in all kinds of display work. With our flatbed printer we can produce images which allow the aluminum finish and grain to show through in white areas of the image for a unique effect.
Add a unique natural decor to your home with stunning wood prints. The natural beauty of wood effortlessly enhances your photographs. Your photos will stand out against a rustic birch wood backdrop that adds vintage charm to any image. Colors are rich in the deeper tones and the grain of the wood shows through the light areas of the images giving a nostalgic feel.
For a modern, sophisticated presentation, your images will look stunning printed on optically clear Acrylic. Vibrant color and second-surface printing add depth and drama to photographs. Available in standard and custom sizes, our Acrylic prints come with either a French cleat or brushed aluminum standoffs for mounting. Photos are reverse printed on the backside of the acrylic using a white ink flood for opaqueness.
